Just in case you haven’t figured it out yet. I work for a printed circuit board manufacturer. In fact I have worked for three different manufacturing companies over the past 25 years.
I also want you to know, that I don’t presume to know everything. I am still learning things on a daily basis. This industry is constantly changing. As technology moves forward it seems that the circuit board are getting more dense (tighter).
Also, the customer keep coming in with new ideas and adding new requirements to their board designs. It seems that a large number of designers don’t have a real understanding of the limitations involved in the manufacturing of a printed circuit board.
